Robert Crumb. Harvey Pekar. Nick Cave. Raymond Carver.  Contemporary art.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally?
Cuddling.

What turns you off?
Hangovers.

What is your favorite curse word?
“Fucking cunts!” (Generally directed toward humankind)

What sound or noise do you love?
The astonishingly rare sound of my cat purring contentedly. It hardly ever happens. I don’t think he likes me.

What sound or noise do you hate?
When my voice cracks. People think I’m still going through puberty. They might be right.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Monkey trainer (for film).

What profession would you not like to do?

Whatever it is Mary Walsh does.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

“I didn’t think you’d make it here either. Ha ha.”

Probably not often enough.
