Joelle
24/10/2012
I love the textures in Joelle’s outfit, and everything has a soft, natural side, so it made sense when she mentioned that she’s a Textiles student at the Anna Templeton Centre.

One thing I almost missed at first was her patchwork backpack. The tones, textures, and colours contribute well to what she has going on.

But what definitely did not escape me was Joelle’s hat. It’s not only hand-knit, but the wool was hand-spun and hand dyed — which with those vibrant colours impresses the hell out of me.

With all of the natural texture and chaotic shapes, there’s still a great structure to the double breasted coat. It really creates a great anchor for the look.

White people with dreads… just wrong.
There is not much to like about this outfit, sorry.
Could she at least lose the shades for a photo shoot?
Back to the dreads… NO.
