Xaiver shot by //d. For the StitchUp 1/4

I’d just stepped out of my new go-to coffee shop when I was greeted by the sight of Xaiver and his bowler hat — then I noticed the vest. My first thought was, “there’s so much going on here.”

My favourite bit of this outfit is how it comes together as a whole. It’s a mash of really classic pieces, like the brogues on his feet and the bowler on his head, paired with a really casual base of denim shorts and cotton tee, then pushed along with the really ornamental vest.

My brief chat with Xaiver was enough to convince me that he clearly enjoys having fun with his wardrobe, and puts great care into finding interesting pieces to add to it. Here’s the tale of how that fantastic vest came into his world.

The vest ain’t workin’. Lose it and embrace the rude boy vibe of the rest of the outfit.

i was going to say something very similar.

I really like the vest, but I don’t think that it works with the rest of the outfit. The straps of the bag look really awkward as they intersect with the design of the (great) vest. I like all of the different elements, such as the shoes, the hat, and the shorts, but not how they look together.
