The Scope

The first of two Admirals teams in the AHL were in town on November 18 & 19. The Caps split the series (what else is new?) with Norfolk, but in the process Garth “Vader” Murray emerged as the most feared man on the planet. Morgan Murray was there to Tweet it. Colin Peddle was there to snap it.

The 50/50 was worth $12,060 tonight. 12,057 more dollars than 2nd period Caps shots.

It’s hockey weather outside, and revenge weather inside. New guy Kendall McArdle-K-Mac- is making his Caps debut.

But the question on everyone’s mind, how long until Garth “Vader” Murray tunes one of these Admirals? Last night was about 10 secs.

If you missed last night. The Caps were blown out 6-2. The D was leaky and there are a few slick Admirals who took advantage.

Paul Postma had a goal last night. But the speedy Admirals made him look silly a bunch of times. He left his game face in Winnipeg.

Riley “Five” Holzapfel from Carl “Mr. Saturday Night” Klingberg on the power play. 1-0 Caps. The crowd is not impressed. Yet.

FIGHT! Cormier steam rolls Gudas in the corner. Vernace comes to the rescue, Cormier goes all Garth Murray on him.

Last Saturday Mile One was a zoo. Tonight it’s much more quiet. No drunken bare chested C-A-P-S dudes or anything.

A Caps clearing attempt rolls just wide of the empty net. They need to practice some of those ridiculous intermission games.
