The Sundance is iffy. I find the service is usualy bad. Especially if they’re busy. It’s not a place to go if you’re in a rush.
The food is mediocre. Nothing spectacular. Just normal pub food. If you’re looking for a place to kick back on a nice sunny evening with a few drinks and some bull chips its great. Just dont expect too much.
I wouldn’t even give this a ONE. I just returned from the Sundance Saloon. My friends and I ordered beer, nachos and poutine. We waited for 2.5 hours. When we first arrived, we sat down and waited at a dirty table for 30 minutes. We attempted to make eye contact with the servers, which just was not happening. We saw a waitress cleaning another table and took a chance that she might decide to serve us there, so we moved. She came over with menus. We ordered beers, which took another 20 minutes to get. When she came with the beer, we ordered an individual nachos and a poutine. We waited another hour to get served the nachos. The poutine came out 20 minutes after that. When the waitress brought out the poutine, she noticed the nachos were not the individual but the bigger portion and told us that they were for another table- a table that had ‘only’ ordered 30 minutes ago. The poutine came without a fork. My friend asked for one. The waitress got her one after about 5 minutes. After we were finished, the waitress was prompt in clearing the table and asked if we wanted our bills, which she also returned with promptly. She told us that we were lucky we only got charged for the individual nachos and not the big ones. !! As well, she told us that she could take cash or credit but that if we were paying with debit we had to go to the ATM inside the bar and take out cash to pay. I was certainly NOT going to take out cash and give them anymore of my money!!!! My friend used her credit card to pay for it. What kind of restaurant doesn’t take debit? And, if you didn’t take debit, wouldn’t you tell this to your customers up front? Not if you want to make a few extra bucks via the ATM, I suppose. All in all, I am thoroughly disgusted and will never go to this place for anything to eat again. BTW, the food wasn’t very good either and the beer was over-priced.

Deck is the draw. Deck deck deck. Nothing else. It’s not a restaurant it’s a bar with a deck that has a menu. Not to say that’s a bad thing.
