I’ve been to this restaurant many times, before the menu was changed and after. The quality of food and service is always great. My favourite lately is the 1/4 roast chicken done in a beer barbeque sauce. So good! And very reasonably priced with entrees all between $15-20. Definitely a good place to go!

    Awesome food!

Went in this resto two times, years between them. Each time, found menu and food very ordinary.

I had the caesar burger and it was nasty. There was no taste. Hardly any caesar dressing. The Nachos and Wings we had for an appetizer were ok, but nothing to majorly brag about.

My bf has had a few things off their menu and he says everything is bland. Do they own a bottle of salt at that restaurant? I think not.

If I go there again, I will be sticking with wings and nachos.

friendly great service and the food was fine to me, as for salt i am happy not to have to much of it as it is very unhealthy.

On the recommendation of Karl Wells review of your restaurant and him giving it 3 stars, I have to say that I have not had such a bad meal for a very long time. We were there on the evening of May 18th and the wine and waitress we have no problem with. Husband had fish and chips which I am sure were not cooked for him – precooked and dunked in hot fat as needed and I had pan fired cod with the same disgustingly dark brown fries and the fish was cold. I won’t even mention the vegetables of the day! The dessert and coffee were fine but we certainly felt that we were taken for a ride and it was disappointing as it was our wedding anniversary!

Me & the bf head out there every once in a while on the weekends for breakfast. We like it because it’s cheap, never busy, and it’s a nice bright light-filled room, which ya likes sometimes. Decent value for the food, tho honestly they could rinse a little more grit off the potatoes.

The missus and I have been here a few times, and we’re impressed with its variety of menu items (quite a few veg options, though if you’re vegan, you’re probably out of luck), relaxed and quiet atmosphere, and its service, which is far better than any place downtown. Every single waiter or hostess said hello to us as we walked in, which you don’t seem to see in too many places in the area.

I’d describe it as a decent, unpretentious and satisfying place to go. The fact that it’s in a Kenmount Road hotel probably keeps the crowds smaller than others, which is nice.
