The 2012 MusicNL award winners

Oct 15 2012

Repartee had the most nominations, now they have the most MusicNL Awards, going five-for-five, including Album of the Year. Luckily for the other winners Repartee wasn’t nominated for everything, allowing Chris Kirby to score a pair for Male Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. Justin Davis and Tom Power also scored a pair of trophies, one each individually for Volunteer of the Year and Media Person of the Year, respectively, and one for their respective outfits, Davis’ Company of the Year Heavyweather, and Power’s Celtic/Traditional Artist or Group of the Year The Dardanelles. Also, Katie Baggs won Female Artist of the Year for her debut solo album Home Again, Home Again, which isn’t a bad follow up to her band All the Wiles winning the Atlantis Music Prize last December.
