If we didn’t know any better, we’d say someone put Kanye West, MSTRKRFT and Weird Al in a blender to make LMFAO.
And, according to the speed that tickets sold for their first show here in St. John’s, that’s a good thing.
From self-producing and self-releasing their music in 2008 to signing to Interscope and touring with the Black Eyed Peas this year, the uncle and nephew duo from Los Angeles are rocketing to stardom. Frequent subjects in their songs include girls, partying, girls… uh… partying.
Oh! And girls.
They’re coming to town later this month, and their first show here allegedly sold out in less than an hour. Now a second show has just been announced for the party rock duo for later that day: Sunday, October 25. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, 12 o’clock noon at The Breezeway on MUN campus. They’ll be selling the first 500 tickets for $30, taxes in, and after that, $40, taxes in. Loft 709 is presenting the show.

BTW: If you do see the guys at the show, don’t mention seals to them. According to their bio they’re both devout PETA members. ( “Being that we’re party animals, we do not like to wear our own kind.”)
