“Love Collided” by Hear/Say

Aug 1, 2012

Hear/Say – Love Collided from HEAVYWEATHER on Vimeo.

This Friday (August 3rd), local hip hop rockers Hear/Say will be storming the stage at The Ship along with Mark Bragg & The Butchers. The seed that eventually grew to become Hear/Say was planted in 2010 when Adam Martin (vocals) and Adam Hefferman (strings) met working nightshifts in a warehouse and discovered a mutual interest in starting a live hip hop band. From there the duo began drafting friends and like-minded musicians into the fold with the group’s line-up solidified last year to include Josh Bourden, Robbie Brett, Josh White, Keith Harding and Whitney Rowe.

Today’s track “Love Collided” is a video that the group recently shot with HeavyWeather. The video was shot in one of the music rooms at MUN and exemplifies the intensity and energy Hear/Say bring to the stage during their live performances. See for yourself this Friday (August 3rd) at The Ship.

(As an added bonus, anyone who can beat Mark Bragg in ping pong during the sound check gets in free.)
