“Curuna” by Dominic Mancuso

Jul 5, 2012

There’s an incredible night of world music in store this evening (Thursday, July 5th) at LSPU Hall. At 8pm The Forgotten Bouzouki will take the stage and delight audiences with their traditional and contemporary Greek stylings. Their set should have a little extra “opa” as front-man George Miminis is fresh off the plane from of a recent trip to Greece and is no doubt still brimming with inspiration. At 9 PM, JUNO Award Winner Dominic Mancuso will take the stage and provide a feast of Italian music for the ears.

Dominic has already released several albums, the most recent of which is entitled Comfortably Mine. The new record features his own unique interpretation of classic Italian music lending it just enough modern familiarity to draw in North American listeners while satisfying the purists with his traditional sensibilites. As is evident from today’s track “Curuna”, Dominic’s performances are passionate to say the least and if this video is any indication tonight’s show should be amazing. For tickets visit LSPU Hall’s website.
