“Break Me” by Thom & The Tomcats

Oct 18, 2012

During the first week of September while the kids were getting ready to head back to school, Thom Coombes and his band The Tomcats were busy gearing up to hit the road on tour with The Connexions. The two bands essentially worked as one and could really only be distinguished between based on whether Thom or Adrian House was singing lead. On September 8th the Back to School Tour 2012 kicked off at The Levee and before long Thom and his buddies found themselves on the ferry, battling hurricane Leslie, sharing the stage with Al Tuck in P.E.I. and entertaining music fans in New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia with their unique blend of indie folk-rock. As if it were all a dream, the tour concludes this Friday (Oct 19th) with a glorious homecoming show at The Brimstone. Join Thom and The Thomcats in celebrating their return to St. John’s and hear live renditions of hits from their Music NL Alternative Album of the Year-nominated For Lovers & The Lonely Alike. Show starts at 10:30 with opening act Delusion Victims.
