Movie Buffs Club

The blockbuster hits of the Empire are not usually enough for film fans in St. John’s, and the summer always seems like the dry season, due to the absence of the MUN Film Society and various student groups. Those searching for the latest independent release or favorite classic on a big screen have been out of luck. Now things are changing as the local rebels at Rabbittown Theatre and Tim Conway, owner of Capitol Video, have joined forces with the new hope of filling that void four nights a week.
Their Movie Buffs’ Club will be presenting a variety of great films all summer long, every Sunday through Wednesday.  They will even have a bar open at the screenings!
