Volunteers from the Canadian Federation of University Women have been collecting, sorting and pricing donated books since early March, and their annual gigantic book sale, which takes place in most Canadian cities at this time of year, is here again. Like every year, the trick is to get there early for the best selection. But, with the sale being expanded to three days a year, no matter when, or how often you go, you’ll be guaranteed to leave a happy, bag-laden shopper. All profits support the CFUW’s numerous scholarships and food bank-stocking endeavours. The sale runs Thursday the 19th, 7-9pm, Friday the 20th, 9am-10pm, and Saturday the 21st, 10am-2pm at the Arts and Culture Centre.
