Winning the prize for raddest-named event of the Halloween season, And The Dead Shall Bury the Living will be a night of ghoulish dancing and macabre music. It will feature two frightfully good local supergroups.
The Wobbly Pops consist of Mathias Kom, Mark Bragg, Katie Baggs, Jud Haynes, Jake Nicoll, and a fiendish raft of guest musicians. The Texmestics are a hellish hybrid of The Domestics and Texas Chainsaw, guaranteed to cook your brains before they eat them.
Members of the living are encouraged to wear costumes. The Dead will rise on October 29 at the Ship. Tickets are $10 before midnight, or $15 if you show up late.
