When’s the last time you told your mother earth you loved her?
Well, now’s your chance.
Local environmental and arts organizations are getting together for an Eco-Stewardship Fair. They’ve planned a day long, family-friendly event to help promote healthy foods and lifestyles, protection of nature, energy savings and ways to green our homes and communities.
An eco-friendly marketplace will host vendors selling everything from worm composting kits to solar panels. Workshops and guest speakers will look at waste management, organic agriculture, pesticide reduction and water issues.
And word is The Sprout will have a yummy booth, and there’ll be face-painting and magic too.
The Earth Day Eco Market and Celebration is set for Sunday, April 22 from 10am to 6pm at The Masonic Temple. After party to follow at The Ship. Both events are free.
