PEI’s Al Tuck had already started by the time I arrived around 11:30pm while Ryan Cook and Sunny Acres had started the evening off.

After taking in a few of The Superfantastics‘ songs, I headed across the street to the Music NL stage. The Idlers were on stage and the whole room was dancing (as usual at an Idlers show). Everyone was having a super fun time!

The Idlers finished with a bang and then they were off to the Backlot for another set. I decided to stick to the Broadway area and check out Musique New Brunswick’s venue at Whalen’s Gate where Share was playing another set along with The Sleepless Nights (Below). I got there just in time to see Phil (also of A/V) step things up a notch.

Share (below) are up next for their second set of the evening.

The band ended the night with frontman Andrew bodysurfing (unheard of in Whalen’s Gate!). Video to be posted later this week. DJ Bones who had played the previous night was at his tables for another night of spinning. He started off with a solid set of indie rock and by the time I left he was well on his way to really good electronic and dance tracks. Marc Xavier LeBlanc (his full name) was also nominated for photographer of the year. If you get the chance to dance to DJ Bones, take advantage and go see him!
