RPM 2008

When we were brainstorming about a photo for this issue’s cover, at first we were thinking “grad photo!” But then someone else at the meeting blurted “Sargeant Pepper!” So what you see is an attempt at combining the two. Successful local RPM Challengers were invited to the atrium of the Fairmont Hotel, and were requested to come wearing semi-formal clothing.

“Unfortunately my access to semi-formalwear involves jeans with less holes,” said one participant in an e-mail.

Ach, musicians!

Elling Lien directed, Sherri Levesque wrangled, and photog Rachel Harding took the shots. Thanks to all who helped, and a big thank you to the Fairmont Hotel for putting up with our shenanigans.

    hey..thanks to all at the scope for putting so much time and effort into supporting this whole RPM thing…it was definitely the best part of the winter…thanks for the listening party last night…it was a great time…really great to meet everyone…
