2008 New Music Issue

Look out your window right now and you’ll likely see a haze in the distance—easily mistaken for fog—it looks like… no it couldn’t be… optimism?

Come what may, it seems as a result the St. John’s scene is undergoing a bit of a renaissance. People who moved away are coming home to live, and people too young to leave home may not ever feel the need to do so. Heck, even people who have no birth-connection to the place are moving here to stay.

Crazy, what?

All of this is having a very exciting effect on an already vibrant live music scene.
