Do you miss being inside Nick Gurewitch’s squishy and hilarious brain? Did you like the movies Life Aquatic, Rushmore, and Bottle Rocket? Well, here’s something for you.
Ages ago, The Scope published the exquisite comic strip the Perry Bible Fellowship in the print edition. The strip might not be on the go any more, but at least Nick Gurewitch is keeping himself busy.
Recently, just for fun, he dreamt up a fictional soundtrack to a fictional Wes Anderson film called The Cloud Photographers. The soundtrack features music by The Kinks, Paul Simon, Belle and Sebastian, The London Double Bass Sound, Itzhak Perlman, and Sigur Ros.
